Lesley is a recent graduate from the University of Colorado Denver, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Business Fundamentals and Spanish, along with a specialization in International Business. With a strong foundation in cross-cultural communication and organizational strategy, Lesley brings hands-on experience from legal assistant roles in immigration law firms, where she supported defensive asylum cases and worked directly with individuals currently in detention. As a bilingual Spanish-English speaker, she naturally bridges communication gaps—an integral part of her identity that has allowed her to build trust and advocate effectively for immigrant clients navigating complex legal systems.
Lesley was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She is passionate about advocacy and community service, and she has actively volunteered with organizations such as Casa de Paz and The Samaritan House, offering support to immigrant families and individuals experiencing homelessness.
Outside of academics and work, Lesley enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, listening to music. She remains actively involved in her church community, organizing donation drives and participating in outreach programs, while also finding fulfillment in mentoring youth and supporting local service initiatives.
