Maureen A. Harrington, Esq. has over 33 years of experience in handling complex workers’ compensation cases. Her unique background includes representing both injured workers and Fortune 100 insurance companies, providing her with an invaluable perspective on both sides of the process. Ms. Harrington has managed thousands of workers’ compensation claims, including cases involving brain injuries, complex spine injuries, paraplegia, and situations where workers are unable to return to their jobs. She has a deep understanding of how insurance companies evaluate claims and the tactics they use to undervalue cases when workers lack proper legal representation.
Ms. Harrington received a merit scholarship and graduated from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, CA in 1991.
Growing up around horses, Ms. Harrington worked her way through law school by working at a local horse ranch. This experience instilled in her a strong work ethic and an awareness of the risks workers face on the job.
As a seasoned trial lawyer, Ms. Harrington has tried hundreds of workers’ compensation matters, including a notable case decided in her client’s favor by the Colorado Supreme Court. In Susan Burren v. Destination Maternity, 19SC298 en banc, she successfully challenged the opinions of three medical providers who were adverse to her client’s claim regarding maximum medical improvement and permanent partial disability.
Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Harrington enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as exploring different cultures around the world.
